Welcome!

Art House is all about providing our community with a home that is inclusive and accessible for everyone seeking a connection with art. We proudly support local artists and sell artwork and products made by South Dakota and regional makers. One name, Art House, includes two physical locations in Rapid City and Hot Springs, and a third virtual location: this website.

Art House Rapid City

Our Rapid City location includes custom framing, printing, and a shop boasting local artists and makers (with pop-up shops coming soon)! Located in Rapid’s bustling downtown, our clients trust us to provide quality service when it comes to their art and printing projects. Find uncommon gifts, stationery, and art supplies too!

Art House Hot Springs

Our Hot Springs location is a large fine art gallery space unlike any other in the Black Hills. Discover unexpected and contemporary artwork by local and regional artists as well as pieces by international artists. We also have a wine bar and unique event spaces to rent for your next celebration. We invite you to explore our beautiful space across from the park and waterfall!

The (short and sweet) history behind Art House

Art House is formerly known as Perfect Hanging Gallery in Rapid City and Riverfront Gallery in Hot Springs. In celebration of Perfect Hanging Gallery’s 50th anniversary and to better reflect the work, services, and heart behind the business, Chance (the gallery’s owner since 2014) and the team decided it was time for a fresh name that could merge Rapid City’s location with a new gallery space in Hot Springs. Art House honors our work’s mission to connect with our communities in a way that supports both art makers and enthusiasts. Our commitment to quality service and relationships remains the same as always, while our new name demonstrates this better than ever. We sincerely hope to create a welcoming space that is inclusive while inspiring appreciation, curiosity, and love for art!
